The Antoinette Centre can come to you!
- School Visits
- Office Away Days
- Clubs and Societies
We can bring our archaeological education activities out to schools, clubs, study groups, and just about anyone who wants to learn about archaeology in their own location. We can offer demonstrations, displays and hands on archaeology activities wherever you are.
Covering pre-History to the present day, and Arts to Artefacts, we can arrange an exciting and educational experience, including full access to the archaeological resources and collections at the Antoinette Centre.
Schools activities and outreach visits are led by qualified teachers and educators with extensive archaeological knowledge and experience. Workshops on offer include practical activities to re-enforce classroom lessons and widen the experience of the participants.
Archaeology is a wonderful addition to curriculum enrichment and provides structured, valuable learning for Pupil Premium children and Gifted and Talented youngsters. As the nature of archaeology is multidisciplinary, workshops and activities can include cross-curricular learning such as Science, DT, Maths and Art.
Sessions can cater for groups or classes for an hour, a morning or a day.
Whatever the location, or the audience, we can provide a rich experience exploring archaeology and history.
We will be very happy to work with you to provide a bespoke, engaging and exciting session.
