The Trust has been gathering archaeological education equipment and learning resources for over a decade.
We have everything from mini excavation experiences, through suits of Roman Armour and enough shields for a small legion, to a set of historic hats and horses heads.
But, despite the fantastic space we have at the Antoinette Centre, we have never had a dedicated space for accessable and organised storage of our teaching kit.
With the help of a grant from the Nineveh Trust to support the development of our education programme, we have constructed a dedicated resource store for all our teaching kit, with a full list of all the equipment and activities they can be used for.
With easy access to our learning resources, we can make our programme of workshops for children and adults more efficient and enjoyable.
We’d love to hear from teachers and other educators who would be interested in making use of the wide range of archaeological teaching resources, or taking part in education activities at the Archaeology Centre.
